“I am not a liberator. Liberators do not exist. The people liberate themselves.”
– Ernersto ‘Che’ Guevara
Who We Are
The Mutineer is a socialist magazine focused on stoking the flame of revolution within the American populace. Simply put, we have one goal: armed proletarian mutiny. By spreading the word of past revolutionaries and pushing forth a new school of communist thought, led by fellow Mutineers, we believe we can form a united opposition against the ruling class of America.
Our writings and monthly zine closely follow the teachings of Lenin, Stalin, Castro, and Che, among others. It is through their theories, but more importantly their actions, that we can fuel our efforts in the present and get one step closer towards breaking our bonds. The bastions of capitalism have only grown, but so too has our might and our grit and our rage. And thus, with the foundations of our past steadily set beneath our feet, the categorical dismantlement of the American empire won’t be a matter of if, but a matter of when.

“Condemn me, it is of no importance. History will absolve me.”
– Fidel Castro
Devotion to the cause
The Mutineer staunchly supports the deposal of the American ruling class, therefore it is imperative that anyone who seeks to join the movement relinquish their individual sense of self. This is a collectivist cause with a structured and organized approach, devoid of any opportunistic corruption. The Mutineer takes no hierarchal shape, it is bound together by communal action and progress.
Mutual aid, direct aid, political agitation and demonstrations are all core pillars of what we stand for. They have molded our hearts and our minds into seeing past what we ourselves, individualistically, might be. That should not, however, distract or take away from the plethora of issues that intersect at prominent points within our world. The institution of racism against black folks and people of color, the prison industrial complex that perpetuates modern slavery, the detrimental impact of the patriarchy, the dehumanization of the unhoused, white supremacy, transphobia, and islamophobia just to name a few.
Those issues are of utmost importance, though we here at The Mutineer only believe that they will be weeded out of society through strict policy measures after a revolution has taken place.
